Biographical Narrative

|
Jerry's first exposure to the
art world was at age six when he entered and won The Denver Post newspaper's "Kid Color
Contest". This state-wide contest required the coloring in of a peacock cartoon
supplied by a local appliance dealer. The first prize was a new one dollar
bill - very exciting to Jerry, but it took him literally four years and several letters to the newspaper to
finally get his prize. |
